The UWM Union Sociocultural Programming Department provides the campus    
community with a wide range of multicultural activities and programs.

These events are designed to prepare students for a more culturally diverse work force, foster an appreciation and understanding of cultural differences, and provide an opportunity for scholarly and cultural exchange.

The unit provides program guidance for student organizations and university departments in the areas of multicultural programming.

The unit coordinates outreach programs and activities to increase community involvement and support the university's urban mission.
