The Milwaukee Divide

Opening Reception: July 8, 6-9pm
Many outsiders know the county of Milwaukee as a hyper-segregated city, one in which many levels of division occur. As residents living in the city there is a need to explore this and question why and how these borders occur. Through this exhibition artists will address the issues of segregation throughout the city of Milwaukee and will interpret the issues of segregations broadly to define not only race but also political, economical and geographical boundaries.
