George Goundie Memorial Scholarship/Silent Auction

This exhibition is dedicated to the memory of Professor Emeritus
George Goundie and is a silent auction to raise money for student scholarships in the PSOA sculpture department. In George Goundie's 26 years of distinguished service at UWM, he served as Chairman of the Art Department, Chairman of the Knapp Bequest Committee, a member of the Faculty Senate and the former UW System Faculty Assembly. He also served on a wide variety of Arts councils and exhibited extensively in major regional and national exhibitions. This exhibition will include a variety of artworks in various mediums with all pieces being available for purchase through a silent auction held concurrent with the show dates. All proceeds will benefit the George Goundie Memorial Scholarship Fund. These Scholarships are awarded to UWM students pursuing sculpture in the Department of Visual Art.
