34 Annual Juried Show

In this year's 34 th Annual Juried Student Art exhibition, Milwaukee student artists present work in a variety of materials. The artwork will be juried by local art professionals Josie Osborne of Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design, Graeme Reid, Assistant Director at the Museum of Wisconsin Art in West Bend and Michael Flanagan, Director of the Crossman Gallery at UW-Whitewater.

Josie Osborne received degrees in Art History and Criticism (BA) and Drawing & Painting (BFA) from University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee in 1989. She later received a MFA in Printmaking from the University of Wisconsin – Madison in 1998. Osborne works at Milwaukee Institute of Art & Design (MIAD) teaching part-time in MIAD's degree program and holding a full-time position as MIAD Director of Outreach.

Graeme Reid graduated from the University of Glasgow and Indiana State University with Master's degrees in 1990 and 1993 respectively. With fourteen years experience in arts management/curatorial work he is currently Assistant Director at the Museum of Wisconsin Art in West Bend. Reid is an experienced juror on a local, regional and national level and is a regular guest lecturer at various Wisconsin institutions.

Michael Flanagan received his BFA from Kansas State University and his MA and MFA from Northern Illinois University. Currently, Flanagan is the Director of the Crossman Gallery and teaches the classes at UW-Whitewater . He is a member of the Board of Directors of Walker's Point Center of the Arts in Milwaukee and chairs the Exhibition Committee.

An Installation by Peck School of the Arts students will be on view in the Atrium Gallery (across from the bookstore)
