World Cinema
An important outlet for the newest and finest films made around the world and independently in America, including Milwaukee premieres, film-restorations, and re-releases.
Experimental Tuesdays
In addition to contemporary and historical programs of experimental film and video, there will be events featuring visiting artists and curators. All programs are on select evenings (not always Tuesdays) and are free.
Documentary Frontiers
Showcasing the best of current, politically engaged, culturally and artistically relevant documentary production as well as classics from the history of this continually important field of filmmaking.
Cinema Classics
Presenting important and historically significant films from various eras including recent restorations and re-releases. All screenings are free.
Share the Earth Environmental Film Series
A series of free screenings on selected nights held in conjunction with Share the Earth programs in the UWM Union. Cosponsored by Union Programming and the Union Theatre.
2011 Milwaukee LGBT Film/Video Festival
The 24th Annual edition of the Festival is presented by the Film Department in the UWM Peck School of the Arts. The Festival is made possible thanks to the support of Joseph R. Pabst; The Greater Milwaukee Foundation's Eldon E. Murray Foundation Fund; Bronze Optical; Milwaukee Pridefest; UWM Union Programming; UWM LGBT Resource Center; UWM Women's Resource Center; the UWM LGBT Studies Certificate program; UWM’s Center for Latin and Caribbean Studies; the Center for International Education at UWM; Quest; 88Nine Radio Milwaukee; Wisconsin Gazette; WMSE 91.7FM; Third Coast Digest; and WUWM.

Locally Grown
An occasional program dedicated to providing a showcase for Milwaukee film, video, and performance artists. This fall will feature three programs by the 2010 Mary L. Nohl Fellows. Co-presented by Inova. Screenings are FREE.
Turkish Film Festival
The 5th annual three-day film series will present the best of recent Turkish cinema.
All films are in Turkish with English subtitles unless noted. Sponsored by the Turkish
American Association of Milwaukee, the Moon and Stars Project, the Turkish Cultural Foundation and the UWM Union Theatre. All screenings are free.
Nordic Film Festival
The second Festival Celebrating Nordic Culture. The festival includes films from all the Nordic Countries – Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland, Iceland and Greenland. All films will be shown in the original language with English subtitles. The programs is presented by the Scandinavian Studies Program at UWM and made possible with support from the Nordic Council of Ministers, The Department of Foreign Languages and Literature, and the Union Theatre.
