Laptop use Agreement

     Purpose of Agreement
University Housing (UH) is providing the above referenced laptop computer as peripheral equipment on a rental basis to the user for the period stated above.

     Care and Return of Laptop
It is further agreed that user will exercise due care in handling and use of said laptop and agrees to return the laptop in good condition at the end of the rental period or upon vacating the residence halls.

In the event of any damage to the laptop at any time while it is in the user's possession, user agrees to inform UH so that repairs can be performed on the laptop.

User is responsible for any damage to the laptop due to addition or removal of software, or usage of the equipment with incompatible software or hardware.

User agrees to pay for any reasonable cost of repair or replacement of the laptop and equipment caused by the user's lack of care, negligence or misuse.

     Delivery and Acceptance
User hereby acknowledges receipt of laptop and equipment in good condition and working order.

     License Agreement
UH is the sole licensee for the software included herein, and any copying or modification is prohibited.

UH shall not be responsible for any damage or injury caused by the laptop or equipment.

UH makes no warranty of any kind, expressed or limited relating to the laptop. Under no circumstances shall UH be liable for any incidental or consequential damages in connection with the rental/use of the laptop and equipment.
