Any computer found to have file sharing software will be unable to register on our network until it is removed. This scanner will automatically detect this potential activity and provide the needed steps to uninstall these P2P programs.
Although scanning for nearly all known P2P programs, the use of the P2P scanner does not imply that your computer is free of file sharing programs and activity. This scanner is simply a means of educating students about potential illegal file sharing activity.
