Job Description: Network Support Tech-ADV

Job Qualifications:

Knowledge of Windows based PC applications such as Lotus, Word, RBase, etc. Knowledge of PC hardware including experience installing memory, disk drives, peripherals and network cards. Knowledge of PC networking desirable. Good verbal and written communication skills.

Essential Duties:

Provide application support for network users; answer questions, configure systems, provide one on one training. Install new PC's and hardware upgrades. Install LAN network wiring. Troubleshoot hardware problems to the 'board' level, swapping parts where required. Troubleshoot software problems. Reconfigure software, reinstall drivers, etc., as required. Document actions taken and distribute solutions to staff.

Other duties as may be assigned by the supervisor.

Physical Requirements:

Reasonably good vision and hearing; manual dexterity; ability to sit for extended periods of time.
