Job Description: Audio Visual Technician

Job Qualifications:

Must have working knowledge of sound board mixing for live bands, theater, and spoken word performances. Must have strong organizational skills, independent judgment, instinct, and interpersonal skills. Must be able to acquire full working knowledge of all Union AV systems and standards. Must posses excellent written, verbal, and technical skills. Must have a positive attitude and demonstrate a heightened aptitude towards customer service.

Essential Duties:

Assist the AV Department Manager in the safe and efficient completion of tasks assigned to the department. Serve as an AV Technician for event coverage. Maintain the cleanliness and stocking of storage rooms and service areas.

Additional Duties:

Must wear appropriate uniform. Other duties as may be assigned.

Physical Requirements:

Reasonably good vision and hearing; ability to lift, move and set up AV equipment that varies in weight up to 50 pounds.
