Joe Rooney
Hello! My name is Joe Rooney. I am a Junior and Marketing major at our great school, UW-Milwaukee. My passions include short walks on the beach, naturally lit dinners and Sinatra on a rainy day. I also enjoy a good cigar and quiet evenings with my friends. Sometimes I find myself staring up at the stars pondering the unanswered questions of the universe. I am an Aries, although I don’t really know what that means. I consider myself somewhere between an optimist and a realist, but I have big dreams and ambitions. Above all I am a Patriot, and I love this great country that we inhabit. If I could meet one person from the past or present it would be myself, because I am a fairly interesting person and would love to be someone else and meet me. If the world were to end in 2012 I would spend my remaining days with my family, because if I’ve learned anything in my 2+ decades of life, it’s that friends come and go but family is forever. My senior quote in high school was “life is short, eat cake first.” It says a lot. I got it from this German foreign exchange student when I was a freshman at Shorewood High School. I didn’t really know him, but it was his senior quote and I thought I’d continue his legacy. Who knows, maybe when I was a senior, some freshman saw my quote and it changed his life like the German’s changed mine. But hey, now I’m just rambling. If you want to know more, just ask.
