Taste of Milwaukee: Part 3

Where: Stonefly Brewery in Riverwest
What: Taste of Milwaukee is a 3 part program that will take place on the first Tuesday of October, November and December (10/6, 11/3, and 12/1). I will be taking anyone who want to go to three local restaurants, Mai Thai on Brady St. Comet cafe on Farwell and Stonefly Brewery in Riverwest. Attendees should bring money to purchase their dinner and bus passes or bus fare. We will meet in front of the Neighborhood Housing Office at 5:00pm.
Sunday Tailgate with COAST

What: COAST leaders Mike Crossman and Glen Anderson will be hosting a Tailgate party for week 13 of the NFL season (12/6). Although the Packers do not play until Monday night, this will be a great opportunity for members of the community to come and meet their COAST leader(s) while enjoying food, beverages and of course the games. This event will give individuals an opportunity to learn more about COAST and the services we provide to the community.
11th Annual Housing Fair

What: To kick off the new rental season the Neighborhood Housing Office invites area landlords to come to campus and preview the units they are going to have available for summer and fall 2010. This is a great opportunity for students to get to know some of the area landlords and get an idea of the rental market in the UWM neighborhoods. This event is ideal for students who are looking for a summer lease, as we recommend you begin your housing search 2-3 months before you want to move into a unit.
