- When searching for off-campus housing around UWM it is important to understand the overall basics of the current rental market. The UWM rental market is currently wide open. In other words, the market is never saturated. You will always be able to find an available rental unit no matter what time of year you are looking.
- Rental units in the surrounding UWM neighborhoods do not fill up early like other universities. Lease signings typically happen only 2-3 months before the move-in date. Be careful if you are signing a lease too far in advance!
